I had the great honor of photographing Bethany & Anderson's wedding over the holidays. Their wedding took us to Dallas, Texas at the Rustic Grace Estate. This venue was a beautiful rustic barn with a gorgeous, quaint chapel in the rolling Texas hill country. I absolutely loved the simple yet classic vibe of Bethany & Anderson's wedding day. They chose to do a first look since their ceremony would be during sundown hours, and I'm so glad they did! This allowed for lots of time for their portraits and their gorgeous bridal party! We love first looks here at Asterisk.
The ceremony was special since Anderson's dad helped officiate the union. It was so very sweet! The reception was full of talent via Bethany's family - her sisters and brothers sang some special songs that truly left the room speechless. The food was yummy and fun - a waffle bar.
My favorite part however was the exit. They had originally planned for sparklers, as most brides do, but somehow among the craziness that a wedding day brings, they were forgotten!! Fortunately, the family thought fast and started to prepare a Baby's Breath toss for the exit. I must say, it was GORGEOUS! I really hope this becomes a new trend. What do you think?
